Slow and steady wins the race – after two long weeks of feeling discombobulated, the self-talk, or as some call it “the chatter” is being silenced once again. I am able to see things for what they are and not an illusion created by past experiences.
That was a rough ride and unforeseen. How did I allow myself to become infected by environmental noise? Simple, when you are inundated by noise and all your senses are overloaded with information, some true some false, you fall victim to noise. If you have no awareness that this occurred you will be swallowed, you slowly begin to travel down a windy, downward path until you wake up one day and ask yourself, “how did I ever get here?”
I often write about goals, natural talent, which we all have, and methods to discover what those talents are. Fortunately, because I did write my goals plus my natural talent and the skills I possess I was able to refocus my inner self, meaning I made time for me to contemplate my purpose in life. This process confirmed the direction and the path I was traveling before my senses got overloaded.
So what can you do if you fall victim or already are a victim of environmental noise?
- Make time for self, about 30 minutes 2 or 3 times a week in total silence and ask yourself?
- What is my goal(s)? And how do I get there?
- What makes me happy?
- What am I doing that makes me unhappy?
- Can I do away with the things that make me unhappy?
- What is the negative impact if I do away with the things that make me unhappy?
- Can I do more of what makes me happy throughout my day?
When you know what makes you happy and have direction in life you can always come back to them when your senses become flooded by noise and confusion takes over. When you cannot see what direction you intended to travel, you’re more likely to make a turn that can lead to a dead end.

You get straight to the point so your readers come away with useful knowledge. They may have known these things before, but you encourage them to listen closer to their intuition. Solutions are always possible when someone believes in himself.
I beleive clarity is a must when it come to getting what we want out of life. So, your questions are a great way to help people get clear in their vision.
Great post, very helpful information.

glad you are back and doing well...we missed you ;)
Hi Bruno
Just thought I'd pop round and, hey, you are back. Cool bananas.
This is like having a foundation. If you don't, you're unlikely to weather the storms very well!

Bruno, I recently had a similar experience. After having climbed out of a little chaos cycle, I was again in a nice flow. Then someone asked me to bend my schedule to fit theirs--not a family member or a friend--just a casual acquaintance. I gave up my precious studio time and got all out of sinc again. We can't really be there for the important ones in our life if we're not there for ourselves.
