Hello Again!
I missed you so much. I don’t know why I stayed away for so long, but I’m here now - I am home. I’m back where I belong. I feel connected, joyful, and happy to be surrounded by you. You bring me great pleasure. I think about you all the time. Oh… how I missed you - words cannot even describe the void I feel when I am gone.
I want to tell you something, something I’m sure you already know. You have an amazing ability to help me see clear with no judgment or noise just what is in front of me and near. Nothing else matters when I am here, just you and me and all that I can see. I feel you through and in me all of your energy – peace, quiet and nothing but stillness surrounds me.
I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to say hello to you again today – Thank you for the wonderful feeling, the peacefulness and energy that I will take away. Until tomorrow when I return I prey I do not go astray.

Words Of Wisdom
In general, everybody is a product of they’re environment. Do you ever stop and challenge what you believe? I bet if you challenged what you believe, you would learn the beliefs you hold near and dear to your heart are not true nor are they beliefs developed through facts or experience but rather comments directed at you that you unconsciously made your own. Words Of Wisdom
During my early developmental years I was constantly exposed to untrue comments to prevent me from failing at accomplishing tasks I set out to achieve. The comments were not intended to deliberately derail me from succeeding, but rather to enforce fear so that I would succeed at accomplishing any task I put my mind to. Fortunately, I did not believe many of the comment, and more often than not I opted to try what I was told I would fail at. Each time I succeeded at what I was told I would fail at I would build a resistance for the person. With each comment I proved false, the less I listened to what people had to say, especially immediate influencers. Don’t get me wrong, I was not disrespectful, I just chose not to adapt their beliefs.
Today in many cultures children adapt learned behavior and false beliefs passed down to them from their immediately influencers. The false beliefs are not intended to hurt the children, but rather to help them along on their journey through life. Some false beliefs a child will carry into adulthood will contribute to the amount of stress and anxiety they will experience, and if they do not challenge their internal belief system and add facts to what they believe, their stress and anxiety level will increase and they will have no way of knowing why.
So the next time you have an overwhelming need to impart some words of wisdom onto anybody, ask yourself if what you are about say is something you know factually, through experience or if it’s something you heard along the way. And, If it is something you learned along the way and don’t know from where, I suggest you substantiate it with facts before imparting any words of wisdom.

A Time In Life Of A Life Coach
Times are changing. Life isn’t what it used to be. Change is good and I choose to change with the times. Thus, the new name for Morning Java – A Time In Life Of A Life Coach. A Time In Life Of A Life Coach
When I first started this blog I was searching for an outlet, a place where I can express my thoughts, my vision, and my theory of life. Over time the blog evolved – The image, purpose, and even the name has changed once or twice. The one thing that remains constant is that this blog is about me, and my journey through life.
Morning Java enabled me to continue learning about who I am, what I enjoy, the reasons why I act the way I do, and how to slow down. There was a time in my life when I felt my English was horrible and that I could never write a book based on my writing skills, so I enlisted with a ghostwriter. I’m firm believer that things happen for a reason and we won’t quite understand the reason why until much later down the road.
The ghostwriter I hired to write my book ran into financial trouble toward the end of last year, he unfortunately had to return to work full time. I didn’t flinch or anything when I heard the news, I just figured it wasn’t meant to be. Today I am happy that he was unable to continue with the project because it has allowed me to write my book from my heart, in my own words and style.
So as life changes with each passing minute, we too are changing with time - Our views on life, how we perceive circumstances and situations, as we learn and have a new understanding as to why thing must happen the way they do.
This is my time in life as a life coach…

An Out Of Balance Life Coach - Are Your 5 Pillars Balanced?
Today is a packed day with three life-coaching clients, two business meetings, and ending with a Toastmaster International meeting late this evening. As I look to the week ahead, every day looks pretty much the same with no ‘me’ time anywhere in my schedule. Gone are the days when Friday was ‘me’ day. Friday is now a full day of client meetings, deliverables - anything but ‘me’ day.
Fortunately, I do recognize the pattern, and I must do something to rebalance the pillars within my life. I can only work so many hour within one day and at the end of my day I must shut down and relax or I will become useless, not only in my life coaching practice but also with my business clients.
Effective immediately I cancelled all Sunday life coaching sessions and rescheduled each client session during the week. I will make every effort to end my business day at 5 p.m. to allow myself time to prepare and enjoy my dinner, and to unwind with a book or a TV show before laying to rest. If I implement these changes I should have Saturday and Sunday for ‘me’.
This upcoming Sunday I am taking a drive to visit my spiritual coach. Yes, even I have a coach. The plan is to experience The Five Tibetan Yoga’s. I’m certain I will feel refreshed and invigorated when I return Sunday.

The Line At Which All Good Things Happen - The Line Where All The Stars Align
Every night before I lay to rest, I connect with the Universe to give thanks and praise for what I have, for the people within my life, my gifts, my health, nature and to all living things. I am thankful to be able to live the life I live and in return I try to help those whom wish to live a similar life.
Today I am blessed with the opportunity to share my thoughts, views and theory’s in a documentary related to spirituality and higher consciousness. Not many people have the opportunity to live a life filled with dreams driven by passion. Life for many is a constant struggle from one day to the next, from the day-to-day battles and environmental noise that engulf their world leaving them feeling lost, disconnected and furthest away from the line at which all good things happen – the line where all the stars align.
There was a time in my life not long ago when I was engulfed by the very same influences that many of you experience today. I searched for answers to all my questions for many years. I never abandoned my quest for happiness and freedom, for many years I asked myself:
“Why - Why is life the way it is - why do I have to do what I don’t want to do - why I do have to listen to what others feel they need to say - and why can I not live the life I feel I know exists?”
By age 31 I thought I had discovered the answer. By age 32 I began living my answer. By age 33 I knew I could not possibly have all the answers, and soon, as I turn 34 I know now I will never ever have all the answers. But, what I do know and all that will ever matter to me is that my life is only about me - How I feel, and what I do will determine how long I stay at the line at which all good things happen, the line where all the stars align.
What I learned at age 31 was that I was consumed by the illusion of life that was created by the world around me, mostly driven by fear. By age 32 I learned that it was okay for me to be me – all of me. And at age 33 I finally let it all go and became vulnerable so I can be who I knew I wanted to be, and that is ME.
Today, because I am ME, I get to live my dreams, driven by passion and no fear.

Footprints To Our Hearts
I’m in one of those moods. Quiet, somber, I feel really solemn tonight. So much has happened in such a short period of time. One day I’m helping people learn about who they are, and in the next, I’m running a successful business managing writers, designer, developers, sales people, and soon someone to take the company to where I dreamed it can be. But, not only do I get to help people learn about whom they are, and run a successful business, I get to use my skills, talent and passion to live my childhood dream. I’m not dreaming, all of this and more are happening right before my eyes. Not 1 - not 2 - but 3 amazing turn of events, which are paving the road to my future.
So, with so much positive things happening in my life, why am I in one of those moods, why do I feel so solemn? I try not to analyze my emotions, I simply allow myself to feel and to go through the process without interpretation or thought. Unfortunately, tonight I simply cannot. Tonight I feel that the only way I will release my emotions is to express myself through my words.
I have no reason not to trust anybody, I trust everybody and maybe sometimes I shouldn’t. I even trusted when the writing was on the wall, echoed by those closest to me to be careful, that it is not all that it is made to be. Today, I finally learned that it wasn’t even close to what I chose to believe it could be – shame on me.
Life will go on – I believe and I often share: At the end of the day even the people that love you the most will end up hurting you. And because I believe this little known fact, I will be able to pick myself up and continue on my journey of 1, 2, and 3.
I will trust again and I will still trust unconditionally.

Behavior Patterns - A Harsh Warning
Self-destructive behavior patterns caused by psychological trauma will create an illusion of ones self-worth. When children are exposed to metal and or physical abuse they can develop a scale that will measure their self-worth, which subconsciously influences their actions and feelings when they become young adults.
The type of abuse a child is exposed to will determine the behavior patterns that may persist in adulthood. Studies show the part of the brain, the frontal lobe, which is the part of the brain that associates action with consequence, does not fully develop until between the ages of 25 to 30. This means that some young adult are making choices that have long term serious consequences they cannot foresee.
I do not enjoy scaring people, as a matter of fact I’m known as a supporter and cheerleader, however, I’m also known for calling a spade a spade when I see one.
If you have been exposed to any amount of psychological trauma in your early developmental years and you are reading this post, ask yourself the following question:
Do I use the words “MY TYPE” to defend my actions and behavior?
Your self-worth and what you feel you deserve today is an illusion that was created largely in part because of your past environment. Take a step back and look into your past - Identify the pattern of abuse you tolerate today and match it to the abuse you were exposed to at young age. Look carefully, do you recognize your “TYPE”
Open your eyes! Your actions have serious consequences that you will regret in just a few short year.

Just About Nothing
I hit a wall - Writers block or blogger block, which ever you prefer. Lately I've been watching CNN, maybe a little too much. I watch the news because I love how reporters use words. I listen carefully to the choice of words and how they articulate their thoughts, and deliver each word pronouncing every syllable. Just About Nothing
Reporters have an extraordinary vocabulary. They say if you want to become successful you have to hang out with successful people. Likewise, if I want to improve my writing skills then I need to hang out with people who have a strong command of the English language, or, I can watch CNN. Watching CNN is like hanging out with Lou Dobbs, Anderson Cooper, and Campbell Brown, only they can’t hear my side of the debate.
I really have nothing to write about tonight. Well that's not true, I can write about something, it doesn’t take much for me to be inspired and to write about it, but tonight I feel like writing about nothing.
It was brought to my attention today that when some people have nothing to write about, they meander in and out of blogs looking for content. Who knew that people actually pilfer content from other bloggers? Me, when I have nothing to write about I watch CNN and listen carefully to the words that are spoken and I become inspired to write how they speak.
Overall I think my writing skill is improving. I’ve come a long way from when I first started blogging and did not care about proper English. I will pad myself on the back for using “the” only 4 times throughout this post.
So, is this post about nothing, or, is it about something?

Am I The Same Person In Person As The Blogger?
Am I the same person in person as the person who blogs? I see myself as Bruno. I know who I am and I know where I am going. I know my weaknesses, my strengths, and I know the triggers that will cause me to react. I know what I fear, but I also know how to get over my fears. And I even know what my insecurities are. That doesn't mean I know everything about myself, it means that I am still learning and will continue to learn more and more of who I am until the day I expire. Am I The Same Person In Person As The Blogger?
With each day I live I learn more about who I am and more about the things that will shake me up. I am no different than any other person who walks the face of the earth. I am confident in many aspects of life, but I’m also insecure in some aspects. The only difference between you and me is that I'm not afraid of learning from my insecurities. I take what I fear and I confront it head on.
Life is about you and you only. You come into this world alone and you leave this world alone. The fear for judgment of what another person may say, about the way you look or the way you speak or maybe even the way you write, would be living your life for that person. I live my life for myself and I learn from the things that I do not know.
Ego comes to mind when I allow myself to think that what I have to say or how I may sound will impact a person enough to become the topic of conversation over his or her dinner hour. Not only is it egotistical but it is also implies that I am living my life for that person, and that just isn’t so.
I choose to live my life for myself, learning and growing with each passing day. Me, you and everybody learn from what we do not know. I am learning to slow down when I become passionate about a topic, or more importantly when I’m sharing one of my passions on live radio.
I have decided to share the mp3 from that morning I was on CFRB Talk Radio. If you are a frequent reader you will know I was mortified when I played back the show and heard myself for the first time. Did I learn anything about myself after I played back the mp3? I sure did!

The Future Is 15 Seconds Away...
Life is moving forward with each passing second. The future is only one second away and within 15 seconds your entire life can change - One telephone call, a discussion in passing, even this blog post can change your attitude and will contribute to the journey you are about to embark on with or without conscience thought. Everything can and will change your future every 15 seconds. Are you ready? The Future Is 15 Seconds Away...
Life is filled with choices, life choices that are all yours to make, every step of the way. You may choose to live your life with a false belief to defend your life choices and continue on the same path talking about the same problems one year from now. Or, you can choose to acknowledge and accept that you chose this path at some point in your life, right or wrong, and now you must choose a new path with new action.
Everybody, everywhere in life will have to make choices. Some choices will be for the better, other choices will be for the worst, but every choice is an invaluable lesson that you will take with you to your next journey. If you are one of those people that is stuck, or someone that loves to complain about something that happened ten years ago, you need to know whatever you may think is the reason why you are on that same path, the real reasons is because you are choosing to continue on the same path.
So, now you know the truth about life choices, and now you have a choice to make: Continue down the same path complaining about the choices you made, or you can choose to take a new path and change your future

Is The Recession Hurting Your Pocket Book?
Make Money With No Money is a challenge I posted on Morning Java, December 14, 2008 when the economy took a nosedive for the worst. People I knew and people I did not know where losing their jobs and homes. One of my passions is to help people that want help, and that is why I created the challenge.
My generation has never lived through a recession this deep, we only heard and read about deeper recessions like the great depression of 1930's, and too young to understand the recession of the 1980's. Even though we are in a deep, bad, recession, there still is opportunities available for individuals to make a living, but it requires a different mindset.
The goal for Make Money With No Money was to draw from your natural talent and passion to create a new life. In the blog post I explain a technique anybody can use to find his or her natural talent and passion. After you learn what your natural talent and passion is, I recommend you turn to technology and leverage all that is available to you at the click of a mouse.
Today marks one month since I posted the challenge December 14th. I'm sure many of you will not be surprised to learn that I accepted the challenge myself and created a new company. As of today I have 3 clients and growing, which I provide specialized services to. What I do for these companies is something I love and have a passion for - And it has nothing to do with life coaching either.
As of today the company is generating four digit monthly revenue, by the end of the month the company will see monthly revenue climb and exceed five digits. The total outlay to start the company was only $9.95, and that was to buy a domain name. I did spend another $75.00 for template website that is not operational as of yet. I work with a team of five, including one commission based sales person.
I am more than happy to share my success and secrets with anybody who sends me an email requesting help.

Fear
Fear is not something I subscribe to. Anytime I experience fear in my daily life I set course to learn why I'm afraid, but more importantly I want to learn the root cause and destroy it by determining the false belief that has me believing something that is not true. When I analyze what I believe to determine the false belief, I challenge what I believe with facts. Any thoughts that are untrue or cannot be substantiated with factual information become false beliefs. When I no longer believe something that is not true, I no longer put my faith into whatever I am afraid of. When I no longer believe something that is not true, I no longer experience fear.
Judgement is a contributor of fear. Fear for what people will think and say, fear for not doing it right and fear for being yourself. When fear dominates a persons life it stops them dead in their tracks from achieving and attempting tasks. When someone lacks self-confidence coupled with fear for judgement, it creates an illusion that is a projection of what they fear and prevents them from attempting and achieving day-to-day tasks.
Sometimes analyzing fear and untying false beliefs is not enough, and more often then not attempting to execute a task works quicker and and is more effective than analyzing fear alone.

Professional AND Lasagna
Okay, onto my next thought. But really, that's how I typically think. I have an overall thought that I blurt out and I'm onto the next topic. So for tonight's dinner party, for six. I decided to go with: Antipasto to start, Meaty Lasagna, and for dessert: French Pastry Puff, filled with French Creme. YUM...
Over the holidays I learned a new way of preparing Lasagna. Not traditional for the region of Italy I'm from. I really don't know what region prepares their lasagna the way I learned that is so YUMMMY and RICH. Five layers of juicy meat and cheese, which include: Genova salami, ground pork, ground meat, ricotta cheese, cottage cheese, mozzarella and romano cheese. I had this version once before but I was not a fan and it could be because it was prepared in an unfamiliar kitchen.
My break is over and I need to get back into the kitchen or there will be no lasagna.

Dreams
Dreams... Everybody dreams. Some dreams fall to the wayside, some dreams come true but manifest not as you dreamed it would but with a spin or maybe in a different direction, while other dreams like your childhood dreams come true when the stars align because you followed your passion and talent. Dreams
I'm a natural dreamer and could dream up just about anything. The older and wiser I'm becoming, the far less I see obstacles and challenges as threats. Every dream starts with an idea, sometimes you an another person can share the same dream, but, unfortunately your dream and that of another person can not be the same - different realities and different needs will makeup different dreams. This is why It is important to ensure when living your dream you live your dream for yourself and nobody else - It has to be about you and you only.
My dreams take me down a path of entrepreneurship, among others paths that crisscross and join later, somewhere along my journey. All paths do connect at some point along my life journey. What I envision for one of my dreams is a company of companies. It's not a secret but I love starting new companies because I have so many ideas. But, once the company is up and running or just about to launch, my job is done and I want to move onto the next idea, while someone else manages and takes the company to the next level. Dreaming and starting companies is a strength, and strengths should be fostered.
Follow your passion and natural talent, when you do the stars will align and life as you know will change and you too will live your dream.

Insecurity
What a long day! I'm finally getting around to finishing this blog post. After the taping earlier this afternoon, I had work and deadlines to meet for the new company. One meeting, one document to review and a presentation to prepare for Monday. Insecurity
Tomorrow is Friday. For some unknown reason I scheduled four appointments tomorrow. I am also hosting a dinner for six. So, some time between my scheduled appointments, I have to go grocery shop, and clean the apartment. Tomorrow will be a fun day. :) I do have this distant recollection though about 'me' Friday - It's faint... But, I know this is how it starts before it snow balls to a place where I can feel the candle burning at both ends.
Before I go to bed, I want to share a little something with Morning Java readers. Insecurity will yield you zero returns. Insecurity leads to self-sabatoge especially when you feel threatened by another person. Ask yourself if the other person can read your thoughts and if the answer is NO, chances are the person you feel threatened by is not thinking what you are.

Style by Jury
This is becoming easier and easier with each episode. The very first time I was in an episode, I kid you not it felt like it took forever, and that's because it did. Today we were able to wrap one scene in a total of one hour and half hours. Bonus!! Style by Jury
I'm just about to give my interview about the subject, we then break for lunch and start again this afternoon at 1pm.

I'm on the set of Style By Jury this morning, which happens to be my living room. I have a few minutes before we begin filming. What I learned from my past appearances on the show is to stay away from the subjects until the camera is rolling. This will prevent from saying something off-camera that I should have said on camera. Style By Jury
I'm filing two episodes today. The first subject appears to be very happy-go-lucky with a good outlook on life just a little lost, seeking to find her way. I won't give out too many details but I will update the progress throughout the day.

Life Coaches Journey
Morning Java with Life Coach Bruno LoGreco debuted almost one year ago. I started blogging because at that time I was looking for a place where I could express my thoughts and opinions about life and childhood dreams. I myself am a big dreamer, so I wanted to connect with other dreamers and like-minded people to share stories with to be inspired and motivated by. What the blog evolved into is a story about my life journey dealing with insecurities, fears, shame, and all those other emotions, but also a tool to help me with my writing skills. In my early blogging days I was aware of my horrible writing skills but had no intention of doing anything about it. As time progressed and the blog evolved, I took an interest in creative writing. I began proofing my work and what I read was embarrassing to some degree. I wasn't ashamed enough to go back and delete the posts, but I was motivated to find a way to improve my writing skills. My neighbor who is a schoolteacher loaned me a set of grammar books that grade one students use to learn English. I try to take an English lesson at least once per week.
Over the past year, I put myself in a vulnerable position as a Life Coach. My existing website: www.brunologreco.com does not have a blog. The reason why it does not have a blog is because I did not want potential clients to read my raw thoughts related to my practice. To some degree, I'm sure I was embarrassed about my writing skills and having blogger host my blog was a safe bet. However, since Morning Java is a public blog when anybody does a search for Life Coach Toronto, Morning Java with Life Coach Bruno LoGreco also displays. So potential clients potentially are already reading my raw thoughts. So, it only makes sense for me to integrate Morning Java into my existing website www.brunologreco.com.Of course that isn't the only reason why. I wouldn't be me if there wasn't another reason.
So, how do YOU identify an area that can potentially be of interest to you but you don't know because you feel you do not do it well?

Passion, Purpose & Love
The dazzling display of pyrotechnics over the city of New York at the strike of midnight on the eve of the New Year charged my soul with renewed inspiration. From the moment the clock struck twelve, my anima, overwhelmed by motivation. The best way I can describe it is: A constant feeling of “Aha” moments, waves of happiness, joy, and excitement.
To me the energy I feel is an indicator that something incredible is happening. Even the energy from those around me is shifting, even among all the doom and gloom: A global recession, job losses in the millions, the credit freeze, the mortgage crisis, and still I hear stories of resilience, determination and perseverance, people picking-up whatever is left and starting over again.
I’ve been told that New York is the city of dreams - The city that never sleeps, and the only city where you can reinvent yourself over and over and become whatever you choose. Thousands of people flock to New York annually for this purpose alone. I believe NOW is the best time for anybody, no matter what city you live in to reinvent yourself. You can choose whatever lifestyle you want to live - whatever your heart desires. You don’t have to live in New York to reinvent yourself; you can do it from anywhere now.
The world as we know it is changing. History, politics the way we transact personally and professionally, even the way we choose our mate, and soon the banking system. Challenge What You Believe
I’m at the end of my 2008 Christmas vacation. I fly home Monday morning with new goals and aspirations for 2009. When I land in Toronto Monday, I will arrive to a full schedule: New life coaching clients, and a new thriving business, that I started with less than $100 dollars. A few weeks ago I posted a challenge – Make Monday With No Money. I’m of the mindset that you practice what you preach, so I entered the challenge myself. Challenge What You Believe
During my radio appearance on CFRB, I spoke about starting a business with no money and using barter as a means to exchange for services. Websites like craigslist.com and others allow you to post free ads. I put my words to the challenge and posted a few ads on craigslist.com for different kind of service providers. It wasn’t long before my inbox started to accumulate resumes. After a few telephone calls and two reference checks, I now have consultants sitting on the sideline waiting for my instructions.
The economy is grim and a lot of people are looking for work to make ends meet, all it takes is a great deal to hire a commission based sales person to generate leads and sales. And that’s exactly what I did. I contracted a commission based sales person to generate leads and to close sales for the new company. Of course there is the promise of a full time opportunity when the company becomes successful – That is only fair. And lastly I reviewed the pool of talent that is immediately available to me thanks to Linkedin.com.
So in less than thirty-days (30) since I started the challenge – Make Money With No Money, I have a full fledge business with consultants, paying clients, revenue exceeding four digits and enough closed business to see five-digit revenue for the month of January. I was able to make this all happen for less than $100 dollars.
Fear is what will keep you right where you are, stuck in your little box somewhere on your life journey. In 2009 make it a point to ditch all your false beliefs and stop listening to what you hear. Challenge what you believe and put it to the test – don’t make another persons knowledge one of your core beliefs – test what you believe for validity and you will unlock the door to your little box.

Happy New Year And May All Your Dreams Come True
10…9…8…7…6…5…4…3…2…1
The skies above Manhattan were lit by a brilliant display of pyrotechnics at the stroke of midnight. “Happy New Year! Happy New Year, best wishes and may all your dreams come true.” We chanted to each other making our way around the room to the intimate group of six. “Happy Anniversary baby, I love you!” followed by a sweet kiss as the pyrotechnic show dazzled each of us as we stared through the glass window overlooking Central Park.
39 stories above the streets of Manhattan, the skies sparkled: starburst blue, red, yellow, white - eruption after eruptions illuminating the skies with mesmerizing brilliance and thunder like “BOOM” roaring rumbles echoing in the distant skies, a sheer genius display of pyrotechnics.
I stood watching, fueled with inspiration by the sheer magnificence of the bright skies and the landscape that stood just in front of me that brought on an overwhelming feeling of JOY and happiness - it left me with a feeling of prosperity in abundance for 2009 and beyond. I felt like I was on the right path to see that all my dreams come true. A subtle reminder that dreams DO come true.
The energy in the room radiated with peace, love and joy – a room with like-minded individuals on a similar path to prosperity. Dazzled by the pyrotechnics, the host opened her arms and reached out to me. We locked into each other and hugged for a few moments, embracing one another like nothing else mattered. What a beautiful feeling.
I am truly inspired – I am ready to move forward into my journey – a journey of many unknowns, a journey with many challenges and obstacles but always a fearless journey, a journey of my own.

The Success Indicators on Your Life Path
A good way to think of this problem is to envision a large square box. This is not just any box though. Rather, in this case, your box has been divided into three separate, but equally shaped rectangular boxes, all stacked on top of one another. Each of these rectangular boxes is a highly important expression of your life goals -- individual levels of success. Within each of these levels of success is an indicator that tells you how close you are to becoming successful in this area of your life.
Every area of your life that you identify as a potential path for success can be further divided, containing the many different events and obstacles you will encounter as you strive to reach your goals. Think of each sector of your life as being divided even further, with three new sections within one of the three stacked boxes (sectors). Within each stacked box are three separate sections, divided by dotted lines that make up the life path you will follow. These dotted lines are not the same as the solid lines dividing the sectors -- they are a path that you have envisioned since childhood -- a series of goals and pathways to success that you want to follow.
As young people, these life paths may not be fully formed. Or they might be crystal clear in our minds--long, straight life paths from the early days of college and adult living to the ultimate goal of success that you have always strived for. You can see exactly what you need to do to reach each success indicator and achieve what you have set out to accomplish. And you probably did just this. After all, your goals as a youth were to be successful in the same way that you saw thousands of others live their lives. You wanted to reach your success indicators and experience the measure of success by which you would measure you life for decades to come.
However, nothing is ever as simple as we envision it during youth. There are countless factors that interfere with your ability to clearly see those success indicators and life paths to success. These factors, or "Environmental Noise," can be detrimental to even the most focused of individuals. Think of what would happen if you dumped the contents of downtown New York into your box and tried to maintain your focus on those goals. Would you even be able to see your life path anymore?
Everyone must travel their life path with environmental noise inundating them from all sides. It begins to become cloudy. The dotted lines, our life paths, begin to look like the straight lines and the success indicators start to be confused with any number of different distractions.
And then something will happen and you will realize that you are in fact nowhere near the original success indicators you set for yourself. Everything has changed and yet you are stuck in a way. You are deep within the center of the middle rectangular box and you have no idea which way to go or how to get back on track. The noise only grows louder and you grow dizzy trying to regain your focus.
It is in this instant that you must clear the noise and return to the basic, almost instinctive mode of thought you experienced as a child. What did you want from life? Where did you want to go? What do you need to get to that point? What was my life path? All of these questions must be asked without the distractions of the world around you muddying up your thought process. When you can revert to a very simple perspective of the world and only spend time thinking of what you want from life, you can be that much more successful.
You can succeed in life despite the environmental noise, cruising down your life paths and moving through your rectangles with ease, but oftentimes you need a helping hand to clear away the noise and look at life with fresh eyes.
