The dazzling display of pyrotechnics over the city of New York at the strike of midnight on the eve of the New Year charged my soul with renewed inspiration. From the moment the clock struck twelve, my anima, overwhelmed by motivation. The best way I can describe it is: A constant feeling of “Aha” moments, waves of happiness, joy, and excitement.
To me the energy I feel is an indicator that something incredible is happening. Even the energy from those around me is shifting, even among all the doom and gloom: A global recession, job losses in the millions, the credit freeze, the mortgage crisis, and still I hear stories of resilience, determination and perseverance, people picking-up whatever is left and starting over again.
I’ve been told that New York is the city of dreams - The city that never sleeps, and the only city where you can reinvent yourself over and over and become whatever you choose. Thousands of people flock to New York annually for this purpose alone. I believe NOW is the best time for anybody, no matter what city you live in to reinvent yourself. You can choose whatever lifestyle you want to live - whatever your heart desires. You don’t have to live in New York to reinvent yourself; you can do it from anywhere now.
The world as we know it is changing. History, politics the way we transact personally and professionally, even the way we choose our mate, and soon the banking system. We haven’t seen times like this since the industrial revolution - A new wave of entrepreneurs and innovators - dreamers alike emerging to tackle the globes biggest problems that face generations to come. This is an opportunity of a lifetime, an opportunity to be at the forefront in the next chapter of history - Don’t you want to be part of it?
Imagine for a moment living the lifestyle you dream of. Whether the life you dream is about spending more time with family or the dream of becoming an entrepreneur. Ultimately all your dreams are about freedom and flexibility - To live life the way you choose and with those you love and trust.
It’s About Passion, Purpose, And Love – Self-Fulfillment
People are slowly but surely getting a clue: In the pursuit of living “the dream” we all forgot about our own dream. Generation after generation, we all lived another persons’ dream - Whose dream may I ask?
Perhaps the shift we are witnessing isn’t so much a shift but rather a correction. Maybe it is time to get back to the basics - Back to a time when prosperity and success followed passion and purpose, a time when you worked the land or used talent such as your hands to create a piece of work. A time period when individuality was fostered and individuals were recognized for their achievements. Back to a time when perception was not reality.

yep, big fan of oprah, eckhart and you (:
thanks bruno... the moment is always NOW indeed, if anything's worth doing it's worth doing as immediately as possible...
as they say "do it, delegate it or drop it"... works often for me :-)
keep well...
I'm flattered, Mona! Thank you!
You are absolutely right bart, anything worth the effort can be done immediately or as soon as it can.
Everybody can find a reason why today is not a good day but very few find a reason why tomorrow may be too late. The reality is; not a single person on this planet can say with certainty that they will be here tomorrow.
Beautiful, inspiring post, Bruno. I can feel the energy in your words.
I believe when a person find their passion and know their purpose they will have Love and therefore, their spirit will be fulfilled.
I love how you describe it is: A constant feeling of “Aha” moments, waves of happiness, joy, and excitement. That is beautiful!
Thank You,
Giovanna Garcia
Hi Bruno
Wonderful and inspiring!
But so much more than that.
I think that you have captured exactly what this opportunity is all about. I hope that more people will be open to it.

But I also believe that if you follow your heart (coz that is what you dream for) can also lead to tragedy. That is why it is best to ask and seek the Lord's guidance about pursuing a dream---if it's actually for you or not. Because if we follow the wrong dream which we think is our 'destiny" ,and if it was not really for us, the whole world will seem to turn around against us no matter what we do to reach for it. Just like my bro-in-law , he aspired to be an actor but now he's 38 yrs old , he still has no meaningful break since he started at age 19---his life is such in shambles because of following this dream ----at 38 years old, he still lives in a rented tiny studio, with a Pilates mat as his bed, drives around on a scooter in the streets of L.A. and has no money and no savings at all, no g.f., nothing except a job as a waiter for $ 7.00 /hr. To think he is a college graduate from Boston U.. We told him to forget that dream because it's not for him but he still believes he can make it. He's been pursuing that dream for almost 20 years. You cannot be what you are not supposed to be. We all need God to tell us what to do.
Thank you San!! I feel in me. I see and hear things I didn't last year. :)
Hi Giovanna - Beautiful name by the way and welcome to Morning Java! I echo your words. When life is filled with passion and purpose loves surrounds you in many ways. :)
From your mouth to gods ears Juliet!
These are choices your brother has made. My childhood dream was to be an actor. I gave up on my dream in my early teens when I learned my acting skills were less than par. Dreams do come true but sometimes the way we envision the dream and how it manifests is different. Just because I gave up on my dream in my teens i never stopped thinking about it. I now do what I love doing, helping people, but I also get to do it for TV. I'm not actor, nor can i reenact. Your brother needs to find his talent and use that to pursue his passion for entertainment.
A motivational speaker from my country said that our efforts to reach our dreams are right for us when:
1. We love doing it, though we don't get paid
2. We don't feel guilty about it (eg. if you steal, there will be guilt)
Of course you need to ask God for guidance too...
